"Nothing compares to the way I was looked after here"

I went to see my local GP surgery and my Dr examined me thoroughly, ECG, blood pressure etc. and decided I needed to go to Kettering Hospital.

On arrival I booked in and handed over the letter from my GP and from then... 10 minutes later a nurse seen me and took some blood samples, I returned to the waiting department. within 10 minutes I was taken to the Cardiac unit and given immediate care.

I was then taken to surgery and had 4 stents placed in my chest, I was having a heart attack and had been having them over a period of time (unaware). I was then taken to the recovery ward and kept informed at all times of what was happening.

The staff were exceptional, caring, friendly from the moment I walked in to the time I was discharged, I unfortunately have had the misfortune to have several hospital visits over the last five years.

I have been well looked after in the other hospitals but nothing compares to the way I was looked after at Kettering General, it was first class and I could not have asked for more from start to finish, once again thank you all for your genuine care, I really, really appreciate it, it was fantastic...........many many thanks
