(as the patient),

I went for a hysteroscopy at Leicester General without any anaesthetic. The lovely Eastern European doctor tried to do the procedure, but it proved difficult. It was not painful just a little uncomfortable - no worse than a smear. She stopped and explained that she didn't want to continue as she was concerned it would be painful. She then booked me in to have a hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic. First class service.
