"New patient in Orthotics"

About: Outpatients Centre / Orthotics Department

(as the patient),

New patient to the department.

I thought I would have to wait 6 weeks for my appointment but I didn’t have to wait as long ( 3-4 weeks)

I received a T/C to make the appointment and it was easy to book

Missed reception when I first arrived but once I found it the were very helpful.

As this is my first visit I found it educational and on seeing the patients around me I wondered what I was doing here.

Dear Outdoors 259

many thanks for your response.

I am glad you had a good experience of the referral process and we were able to see you quickly.

Orthotics sees a variety of patients with many differing conditions from simple pathologies such as a sore foot to conditions affecting the whole body which can cause serious mobility issues that require addressing.

The waiting room can accomodate people with many differing needs.

(remember people accessing other services also wait in our waiting room)

thanks again
