"Advocacy service is a great help"

I am a disabled person with both mental and physical problems. I needed someone to talk to, to give me help and support, I find it hard to communicate because I’m deaf. I have been receiving counselling but was bullied and intimidated by a member of staff at the centre I attended, this really affected me both physically and mentally.

I was told about the advocacy service, when I contacted them I was put in touch with Dafydd who helped my situation. He took time to listen to me and help, support and advise me. It was a good feeling, at last I had someone on my side. He argued my case against the member of staff, what a big relief the advocate gave. He took away all my anxiety and stress. Mr Carrington was very professional, caring and understanding, I was very pleased he took over my case. The service provided was excellent. Outstanding.

I have now won my case with the help of Mr Carrington, a very big thank you goes to him. I do not need to worry about being bullied ever again as I know I can turn to the advocacy service.
