"Urology nightmare continues"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

I have been under this hospital for several months with urology

At my initial hospital stay I was not given all of my medication which resulted in massive withdraw symptoms.. I was only admitted for two days for tests. This was just prior to Christmas 2015 but because f the above I was not allowed home. In fact I was kept in over

Christmas and the New year.

I was discharged after three weeks with massive bed sores and unable to walk because of bed rest without any physio

I had an appointment for a cystiopsy. Which resulted in an infection. A follow up appointment resulted in being told that my records had gone missing ! Eventually these were found and after three hours Ileft with the understanding that I would have a Turps within 3 months. IIt is now6 months and I am still waiting. Some weeks ago I had anther follow up appointment at which a doctor told me that I should have been seen, but m booking card could not be found. They assured me this would be sorted, but in not having heard from them last week I contacted the hospital to ask what was now happening to be told that I was down for the premed tests next week, just 6 months from the initial date, however this is not the date for the procedure - we will see what happens next.

This hospital is a joke and a real mess. God bless the NHS

I am very concerned to read of the number of difficulties you have experienced while undergoing investigations and treatment at this Trust. This is not the level of service we look to provide. I would be grateful if you could contact me directly either by telephone or email so that I can properly investigate your concerns and look at how we can better support you in the future.
