I had an assessment prior to my op. it was carried out with nurses, specialist nurses, doctors, registrar, anaesthetist and consultant and in my opinion everyone was helpful, understanding and very professional. I had my op and ended up in intensive care where my husband was overwhelmed by the skill, care and attention I received on a one to one basis.(I was still sedated) I was transferred to ward 25 and again all the staff including admin personnel were brilliant. I cannot thank everyone enough for my treatment. I am now 15 days into my recovery at home and improving day by day.
Many thanks to everyone. Margaret Murray from Carlisle
