The treatment I received was outstanding as far as I am concerned, The Orthopedic Consultant at St Hellier did what was described by my local consultant as an "excellent job" of inserting plate and pins into my ankle.
The NHS nurses in what I think was the trauma unit were at all times caring and concerned, always bright and cheerful and never too busy to help. We had a good laugh and joke together.
I'm now walking two or three miles a day and am so grateful for the excellent work everyone at St Helier did.
