"Lack of care"

It appears that this service basically waits for a patient to be in crisis before reacting with the appropriate help. The community team is too small and stretched to provide adequate care. Patients are threatened with hospitalisation and referred to the crisis team, who then say they also don't have enough staff to support the person in crisis. The person in crisis deteriorates and ends up on the acute ward in Lincoln, only to be discharged and for the whole cycle to play itself out again. And again. And again.
