What I liked

All of the staff on ward D5 were caring, efficient, positive and worked very hard to maintain and improve both my physical and emotional health. The atmosphere on the ward was excellent, everyone was bright and cheerful and worked hard as an efficient team. D5 ward was exceptionally clean and the staff observed rigid hygiene precautions which helped alleviate any worries of infection. During a stay just over four weeks I received a very high standard of care which I have no doubt aided my recovery.

Anything else?

The meals at New Cross are often criticised but during my stay I found the variety available more than adequate and the food both nutritious and of reasonably good quality.
