"As a long term patient I was treated ..."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

As a long term patient I was treated the whole time with great dignity and respect by consultants, nurses and cleaning staff. I would like to thank all, I stayed on 3 different wards and the experience was much the same on each. Then I was transferred to a big london hospital, I could not say that I recieved anywhere near the same treatment and was so glad to return to the L&D. Nobody likes to be in hospital, but if I had to I would definately choose the L&D this from experience.

What could be improved

More services at the L&D so I wouldn't have had to be transferred to another hospital.

Food could also be improved.

Your kind comments have been passed to the Nursing manager and the Domestic Services manager to share with their teams.

As to food, this area is always reviewed to find more ways to provide nutritious, varied and tasty meals for our patients.
