"My experience in surgical admissions unit"

About: Victoria Hospital (Kirkcaldy)

(as the patient),

Admitted to hospital with abdominal pain. Found to have acute cholecystitis requiring a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Staff made a horrible few days manageable.
I felt safe and supported by the whole team.

Dear JCR 74

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay in the Surgical Admsions Unit. I was sorry to hear that your gallbladder made you feel so horrible but was glad to hear that the staff made that time more manageable for you. Feeling safe and supported is so important when you are otherwise feeling vulnerable. I will be delighted to share your feedback with the team who will very much appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Regards

Louise Ewing
