"My son's care 26th/27th May"

My son received outstanding care from a team of amazing people and I feel I need to thank each and every one of you.

Thank you to the nurse in the Children's Emergency Department on 26th May who contacted Urology and to the Urologist who stayed on to see my son and got the ball rolling.

It was so kind of you to come and see us the following day, many many thanks!

Also thank you to the Sister in the Children's Emergency Department who was (still) on shift on 27th May.

You were so quick at getting my son booked in and worked magic when taking blood.

He has commented on how nice you were.

Also thanks to the anesthetist and their team.

You let us know exactly what was going to happen and you even managed to bring a little smile to my son's face when he was feeling very frightened.

Thank you to the very skilled Urologist who performed his operation when he was never originally on your list for that day and for updating us as to how the procedure went.

And lastly thank you to team of nurses who looked after us before, during and after my son's operation and made the best toast he has ever tasted.

He is recovering fantastically so far and I have no doubt this is due to the outstanding care you all provided so thank you from us all.
