I was admitted to ward B6 of Rotherham District General for eye surgery (cataract). I was extremely happy with the speed and efficiency from diagnosis to treatment. I appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone concerned.
However, for such a large hospital I feel the car park needs to be considerably larger, as it is not always possible to find a parking space at busy times.
I would like to thank Sister Karen Tune for arranging everything at my admission. Also, the doctors and staff on ward B6 for being so helpful and friendly.
From first discovering the cataract in March to having it removed in July, everyone was so helpful. I was very impressed with how quickly it was all sorted out.
As I have said already, special thank to Sister Karen Tune who managed to change consultants for me halfway through the process, purely and simply because I wanted a general anaesthetic instead of a local.
Many many thanks once again to all concerned.
