"Blood Test for 2 year old"

About: St Michael's Hospital (Braintree)

Took our son age 2 for a blood test here today and found the support and the negativity from staff very disappointing especially considering he has never had a needle in him. After waiting an hour (which I get) only for a member of staff not to be able to complete the blood test and then blame my son for moving his arm to much, not sure what they expect. Due to the non-completion we were told to visit the children's ward, which is odd as they do not accept walk-ins as I did call them. So now off to Broomfield for the blood test. Very disappointed and now for a second attempt possibility of stressing him out further. Not good
