"Outstanding care"

About: East Surrey Hospital

From the moment my wife dialled 999 following my TIA on Saturday 21 May until my discharge from Chaldan ward on Thursday 26 May I received care of the highest standard from the ambulance staff who arrived in just under 10 minutes, A&E where I was attended to immediately and Chaldan ward where I was cared for by exceptional staff.

Thank you everyone.

You are, without exception, a credit to your chosen profession.

Thank goodness for the NHS.

Dear Mr Soden,

Thank you for sharing your story about your recent TIA. It must have been a very worrying time for both you and your wife, so it is good to hear that you felt that you were being cared for by exceptional staff and in a timely way. I will ensure that your appreciation is passed on to our staff in Chaldon ward and the emergency department.

I hope you are now recovering well at home.

With best wishes,

Cathy White
