"The care was exceptional"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Physiotherapy (A&E) Crosshouse Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP for physiotherapy for a back/lumber condition. In response to the questionnaire elements, I was referred to Orthopaedics/physiotherapy check for possible cauda equina syndrome. The care and attention received throughout the period of my visit was exceptional as well as thorough. Accordingly, I was very content that every area of concern which required to be checked and dealt with was done so, timely, informatively and consistently. Well done. I was seen by Joanne at physio and Gemma at physio/orthopaedics.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Flop491,

Thank you for this great feedback. I have passed it on but particularly to Gemma and Joanne, I am sure it has made their day. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how good your care was.

I hope you are back to full fitness now.

best wishes,

Eunice
