"Too long waiting times to see specialist"

About: Hereford County Hospital

I have been referred to endocrinology specialist couple months ago. Received appointment letter which has been cancelled. The second apointment was cancelled very last minute again. I lost 2 work days.

Also after speaking to secretary I was informed waiting list is 20 + weeks which is nearly 6 months if I am lucky...

One consultant is off sick, another one on leave so County Hospital has no endocrinologist covering at all!

So if I had cancer and was waiting for investigations or diagnosis by 6 months time it would be too late to do anything...

Very disappointing.
