Marvellous level of medical care from everyone involved.

Attention to detail and technical expertise is outstanding.

12.5 hour shifts require super-human effort in often very difficult circumstances yet staff are all pleasant and calm.

Some patients and politicians at large should show more respect for this dedication and professionalism.

The NHS is a wonderful institution. It should be allowed to flourish rather than being continually criticised, examined, and interfered with by expensive inspections and unnecessary accountability. And it certainly shouldn't be privatised.

My husband, who was in both Chelmer and Colne wards for bypass surgery, and I cannot express our thanks and gratitude highly enough.
