just this week was very upset in out patients department c and a lovely nurse gave me a hug and was so very comforting and caring towards me!!A real angel of mercy in my book! The nurse will know who they are! I was distraught and they were a huge help,in calming me down bless them! I have been to the hospital many times for treatment etc and find the staff all,caring and very professional! I am always glad when I have to visit this place.So a huge thank you to the staff for all you have done for me in the last year!I can't praise you all enough especially in out patients on Tuesday in department c! A very grateful,patient.

Sorry to hear that you were so upset, I hope you’re feeling a lot better - it’s reassuring that one of our nurses was such a comfort to you. I will do my best to track down the nurse who was a caring figure to you in that moment, I’m sure this member of staff will be pleased to read your review – as will the rest of the outpatient team at Hexham hospital.
