"Visit to children's A & E"

I visited the Children's A & E department on 24 May 2016 in the early evening, with my son following a fall at nursery and a bump to his head.

The department was extremely busy, but staff were efficient and caring, from the triage nurse to the doctor to the nurse who cleaned his wound and glued it.

All staff took the time to reassure my little boy and gave him a certificate and sticker which makes all the difference to an upset and tired 4 year old.

We had a long wait but all staff were very professional and kind.
