"Very kind"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

After breaking my wrist on my writing arm and being a type 1 diabetic I was in a bit of a state about how I was going to do my injections. The staff were so kind and helpful to me and couldn't have been more lovely even if I was crying and apologising for crying! Was there for just over 4 hours including getting good my plaster and everybody I met was so kind and lovely, including a couple who were waiting an a&e (thank you if you see this!) . Very different from experiences I've had before at other a&e departments.

Dear Heather

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback about your experience in A&E. I am delighted to hear that it was positive and I have passed this onto the teams involved in your care, I know that they will really appreciate your kind words.

I hope that you are recovering well.

Best wishes

Caroline Davies

Deputy Chief Nurse
