"Poor communication"

About: Tameside General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Over a 12 month period I've ended up having 2 procedures, today I'm having my 3rd, I got told nothing to eat after midnight or drink. Got there for 7: 30am to be still sat here waiting at 13: 14pm. I've had to ask what's happening to be told they've had 2 emergencies which I understand, but I'm annoyed that no communication has been fed back to me until I've asked. Last time this happened, I was left that long that I was badly dyharated, I feed back my concerns last about this to my consultant no point really seems its happened again. Very annoyed
