(as the patient),

I suffer from bipolar affective disorder and this year experienced a relapse.

I was trying to reduce medication with the hope of becoming pregnant. However, I became quite seriously ill and required intervention from various NHS services, including GPs, health visitor, psychiatrist and CPN.

The treatment and care that I received was, overall, excellent, in particular the support from my health visitor and psychiatrist.
