On 23/05/16 I attended for some surgery on my shoulder as an outpatient.
I arrived quite early and from the start I was made to feel welcome. After my arrival I was taken through to the outpatient area quite quickly. Everything was prepared and ready for my arrival and the staff were extremely friendly and talkative (which helped me relax more) but still worked effectively. I was involved in discussing my care as I had a personal concern but was reassured and supported in my decision. Initially I felt disappointed that I saw the consultant on my ward after my surgery and they didn't ask how I was. Having time to think about this I now feel they have every confidence in the staff in looking after my care.
A physiotherapist came and gave me excersises to do at home and a appointment in 1 weeks time. I will also receive a post op appointment with the consultant in 6/8 weeks time.
Today I have received a curtesy call enquiringly about my health, which I am very impressed by. I would not hesitate in recommending Barlborough Treatment Centre as the care is excellent.
