I had a phone call 2 hours before my 21 weeks scan appointment, saying that they need to re-book for another day as one of their staff went home sick.

You would imagine they would be prepared for occasions like this but o don't think that is the issue here. More like they are very unorganised as they have changed my last trimester scans 3 times now which were already booked 10 weeks ago and I just keep getting letters saying that the appointment has been changed every tree to four weeks.

I had paid for a childminder today and my husband called in sick which put him in a lot of trouble at work as they really needed him to finish a project.

Now I can not book another appointment as I can't afford childcare again and my husband can not take the day off work and we don't know many people here to help with babysitting as we just moved here a couple of months ago. This maternity also won't allow babies or children to come with you.

They did not give emergency any notice or any choice.

I feel robbed of the opportunity to see my baby and make sure everything is developing well.

They were extremely harsh about it and did not seem to bother just said that that it's not their fault.

Of course it is. They are not organised and they let patients down as a result. Even my 12 weeks scan was extremely short like 2 min and it was done.

How do I trust them with having my baby here?

I can't! I am looking at other options already. I am very upset and very disappointed with their level of care!

I have other children and need to be very organised with timing. Cancelling only hours before the appointment is very unprofessional!
