I have been coming to this hospital for the best part of five years. One time when I arrived I was told that 1-I had been discharged for missing an appointment and 2-I don't have an appointment when the letter I had clearly said that I did. Not only this the receptionist was extremely rude to me. So I went home after having to pay car park money for no reason and two days later a letter came through saying that the appointment two days prior to this had been cancelled. It was sent the day before my appointment!! Anyway I make another appointment and when I turn up for it the same thing happens. The receptionist put me through as an emergency only to he told rather rudely 'I'm not an emergency'. Also being told that I shouldn't be on the eye drops I'm on and have been on for five years for a long period of time. However my eye condition means if left untreated I could go blind. I don't see how that's not an emergency!! Also to be told of some things I should be doing to help my eyes. Why wasn't I told this when I was first diagnosed. Also I was told that I cannot be referred to morphields eye hospital as 'they cannot do anything different for me.' So yes I'm very angry with this hospital.
