Had a knee op done last week & i have to leave a positive review as they thoroughly deserve it.
From start to finish i can only praise the way the hospital operates.
The staff [ from the friendly cleaners, the porters, receptionists, physio's, nursing staff, the kitchen staff, all those involved in the theatre operation & anybody i've forgotten ? ] are brilliant. They explain, care, smile, chat [ & put you at ease ] find time for you whenever needed. I cant praise them enough ! Totally professional.
The place is spotless. The food is amazing & the choice is excellent whatever your needs. Served hot & fresh & with a smile - brilliant + tea / coffee & biscuits 4 or 5 times a day.
I hate being in hospital, but this was a different experience i'd go back to Barlborough tomorrow !
The most important thing of course is the operation, that has to be the thing that really matters !
That was completed quickly & efficiently & was done highly professionally !
I went in at 6.30am & was on the ward at 11am having been treated with care & respect [& a little humour ] throughout the different processes required. Not the most pleasant situations i've ever looked forward too as i'm not keen on needles, pain, stitches ect; but i have to say it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be & i have to put that done the the staff being thoughtful & caring.
I'm only 6 days on from the op, so i can't say its a success as only time will tell. But as things stand i'm very pleased with the outcome, am sure it will be the outcome i want & that if i do have any issues, Barlborough will be there to assist me in any way i need.
If you are looking to have surgery & Barlborough is an option, then i can only say it must be your 1st choice as i dont believe that its possible to find a better Treatment Centre !
To all concerned in the running of Barlborough Treatment Centre - well done - you're amazing! Thank you.
