My mother who is in her 80s has been an in-patient twice at St Helier Hospital in the last four months - firstly a fall required her to undergo surgery and rehabilitation and then further surgery was required following a suspected cancer diagnosis.
The care that she received on both occasions in A&E, orthopaedics and gynaecology was excellent.
The consultants took time to ensure that we were clear about the treatment being proposed and about mum's choices.
Staff were caring, attentive and approachable - the atmosphere in the hospital was an extremely positive one, which definitely aided her recovery.
Based on our experiences, I would rate the treatment and care offered at the hospital extremely highly.
"Excellent treatment"
