"Pain Managemment"

About: Orsett Hospital

I have been seeing different doctors at the pain clinic over a period of 4 years! still no proper diagnosis! After they have done all the injections etc, apparently I shouldn't be having any further problems, well sorry to say I feel worse than I did 4 years ago! I have been bounced from my GP to pain clinic and am so frustrated that I even wrote to the doctor telling the doctor that I have lost confidence in them. I find the doctors condescending and even rude, eventually after many appointment's, tears, depression and finally anger they telling me I need to now see a psychologist! I would love one of those nitwits to spend a day in my shoe's and then see how they would cope, apart from the pain I have tingling feet, legs, fingers and hands which turns into pins & needles then numbness all day every day! Some days it feels like I have ice running down my legs from my knee's and excruciating pains in my legs when I stand for longer than 10 minutes or sit on a hard surface for longer than 5 minutes, I take so much pain medication and I thank God for that, because it takes about 30 minutes for them to kick in first thing in the morning, I am unable to walk because of the pain until the medication kicks in...oh but no it's all in my head!! And yes I still work full time!
