Every stage of the process was explained clearly and carried out very professionally.

I had a spinal anaesthetic so was awake in theatre and the theatre staff were all superb at keeping me calm and informed as to what was happening.

After surgery it was into recovery for a while then onto ward 32 where I stayed overnight.

The staff in both these areas are top drawer from the people who bring the meals and cups of tea to the nurses and doctors.
