Think a and e staff need to know how other departments operate as I was given wrong information regarding being contacted by another department which has resulted in my daughter needlessly having a day off school!

I am sorry that you had reason to bring your daughter into hospital for emergency care and disappointed that the communication was poor and fell below the standard that you expected.
Accident & Emergency staff can be exceptionally busy and I am sure it was not their intension to mislead you regarding further contact about your daughters care.
We value your feedback and will share this with all the relevant senior staff who will discuss it with their team members.
