I had an operation on my knee carried out by the day surgery team on Tuesday 3rd May. The outcome has been excellent and I had very little pain or discomfort and am now (21st May) fully fit to exercise etc.
I want to comment on the excellent service that everyone in the Day Surgery Unit provided. From the moment I registered at reception, everything was well organised, friendly and very professionally carried out. It was also very focussed on the patient which was really good for my confidence in the operation.
It is never easy to undergo surgery but the way I was treated made me feel really good about the whole event.
