"Poor service from the crisis resolution home treatment team"

Not too long ago, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Trust upheld a complaint I made about the crisis team services. In the complaint they said that that they were committed to delivering a high standard of care and would highlight to the team the need for good practice. They also assured me they learn from complaints and address any issues quickly, so I was very hopeful my future experiences with the team would improve. Unfortunately they have continued to deliver care I feel is substandard.

I was admitted to a Recovery House recently after being in crisis for a number of weeks. I saw my consultant psychiatrist on the Wednesday and was urgently prescribed a high dose antipsychotic to help deal with my symptoms. I was told the Crisis Team would dispense the medication to me when they visited the house (which they do twice daily). They did not bring the medication until the Saturday despite the urgency of the situation. Again, later on in my stay I was seen by a psychiatrist who ordered my diazepam to be increased (This was on a Thursday).

The nest Saturday when the Crisis Team visited they had two medications that I did not need but no diazepam. How can qualified professionals forget the actual medication a patient in crisis needs? As it was the weekend I was able to get it. I had to leave the Recovery House the next day, and was unavailable for 3 days from Monday (the crisis team are aware of this) so left without meds until Thursday when I returned, a whole week since the urgent, emergency medication was prescribed.

I have been told it is written on my notes that the diazepam should have been ordered so am unclear how I can be left without when my symptoms are so troubling.
