"I felt I was being rushed to finish my meal"

How long are you allocated to eat a meal or drink a drink? I came into hospital and the staff seemed to be hanging about waiting for meals to be finished when they had only just been given out. But then a few days later staff were actually waiting outside the room blatantly waiting.

I can't rush meals as I have a swallowing problem and it was very off putting having this done. My family also said that the cafes on the ground floor were closed as they went out at 4 making it difficult for them to get hot food. Does everything stop at a weekend?
