"Cataract Surgery"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I had my first eye done in January this year, very successfully, with my second eye done this week.

So far so good.

I am very, very happy with the results, particularly as I now know that I have very small eyes that made the surgery trickier and took longer than expected - the surgeon did a brilliant job.

I am now seeing the world in HD and will only need glasses for reading and some computer work I think.

The ward staff were great and the anaesthetist on the second op was lovely and took their time explaining things to me.

I have been looked after very well by the Ophthalmology Dept and can't praise it highly enough.

Hurray for the NHS.

Many thanks for your feedback which I have forwarded to the Ophthalmology team.

I am pleased that you are now able to see the world clearly!

Kind regards
