"Dr referring me to A&E at Hairmyres Hospital"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended Hairmyres Hospital after being referred to by my GP. As soon as I arrived in A&E I was taken straight away let to a bed and got an ECG. Then got blood pressure, temperature taken etc. Dr seen me then and was told to go for a chest xray. This was then followed by bloods and then ct scan. I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank to all Dr's nurses and especially the nurse who brought my mum tea and a sandwich as we had been there since early morning. I couldn't fault any member of staff. So pleasant and caring. Thank you to everyone and please pass this on so that they can get recognised for this.

Dear sandramunro

Thank you so much for sharing your recent experience in the A&E department. It is lovely to hear that staff were pleasant and caring. It is good to receive feedback as this enables our continued learning as we strive to provide postive experiences for our patients.

I hope you are recovering well and thank you again.

Best Wishes

Lise
