"Kidney Stone Operation Darenth Valley Hospital"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I went into Darenth Valley Hospital on 18/5/16 and the level of patient care recieved from all levels at the surgical admissions lounge, theatre staff, recovery unit and Mr Marsh and his team was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was polite, friendly, helpful and made my stay very confortable and the constant reassurances made me feel so much more positive going into the theatre, the level of patient care at this hospital is exceptional and for me it is the standard bearer for the NHS, the hospital toilet were spotless, the lounge area was clean, the hospital was warm and the staff were also very smart in appearance. Everyone was so kind its a pity I cannot remember everyone's name as in my book they all are heroes to me. I fully appreciate the NHS has lots of pressure to cope with but I've been to Darenth twice now and it has been clear to me patient care is the number one priorority, this does make a difference and it is only just that it is recognised. Thank you very much
