"Community care at Carlton Parade"

I was admitted to the mental health unit at sidcup

hospital last year and the care was non existent especially the nursing care

From there I was referred back to the SIT service which was then at Stepping Stones Bromley.I think due to the move from Stepping Stones to Carlton Parade I was lost in the system for a while

Eventually I was seen at Carlton Parade by the SIT team and since then my experience at Carlton Parade has been extremely positive Every staff member I have come into contact with has been very helpful and at all times treated me with respect and dignity.

I have been involved in all decisions regarding my care and treatment and have always felt listened to .

I have had 27 years of contact with various mental health services and strongly feel that my care at Carlton Parade has helped more than any other service provider.

My only regret is that I did not receive treatment there at an earlier stage
