"When you enter the hospital it ..."

About: The Christie

(as the patient),

What I liked

When you enter the hospital it has a welcoming feel to it....as if you know you will be ok as soon as you step into it.

I've attended a few times and have noticed the difference from other hospitals I've been in before and that includes private ones.

All the staff have been lovely to me and any procedures I have needed have been as quick as if I was a private patient.

If you are unfortunate enough to get a cancer diagnosis The Christie is the place to go to.

What could be improved

The only thing I feel could be improved and it's only a minor comment is that the food could be better in the canteen!

Anything else?

Special mention must go to the Doctor's secretary they have been brilliant with me and deserves a massive thank you.

Thank you for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated.

If you would like to give us some more information regarding the food in the canteen, we would be happy to look into this. If you would like to do so, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service at pals@christie.nhs.uk.
