Just like to say a big thank you to the team that carried out this procedure today. The appointment was brought foreward a month when I was looking at ten weeks just to get an assessment prior to the endoscopic examination. I really wanted a general but agreed to a
local anaesthetic (I had problems with this when I had an examination three years ago.)
From the nursing staff to the consultant that did the procedure I was treated with dignity and compassion that I can only describe as exceptional, and had a full explanation of the procedure and results during my 1 hour stay. Waiting time approximately 10 minutes which again is exceptional.
The NHS should be proud of the quality of service at this hospital - it is not a comfortable procedure but In my case was carried out to the best that I could have hoped for.
In and out in an hour - what more can I say but Thank you again.
