I would like to thank all of the staff who I encountered at the vitreo-retinal emergency (VRE) clinic on Friday 13th May.
I was referred by my local hospital (Whipps Cross) A & E department after they had diagnosed a detached retina in my right eye on the 12th.
I found everyone in the VRE engaging, helpful and extremely thoughtful in dealing with me and the many other emergency patients.
The operation took place within 24 hours of initial diagnosis, and saved the sight of my eye. You have a great team, and an obvious great team spirit.
Thankyou so much
