I spent 3 nights in F1 Hallamshire on 11/5/16 for a hip replacement.
My admission and pre op care was good, being informed at all times.
My theatre experience excellent, plenty of happy, professional staff who made me feel very safe. The spinal anaesthetic with sedation is highly recommend.
My stay on F1 was excellent with all nursing staff, both day and night, providing very professional care and pain relief.
Then there was the other staff, some but not all support workers, the staff who delivered the tea and water, the staff who brought the food. Oh dear, loud, miserable and very very moaning! Cross them at your peril!!!
It is such a shame that a few people can make, what could have been a very positive experience, into such a negative one.
