"keswick visitor"

About: Keswick Hospital

My husband and I were on holiday in Keswick and whilst walking through the town (Friday 13th May ) I fell and cut my left hand. As the hospital was only a few minutes drive away we were able to get treatment quickly. We were greeted by the receptionist on duty (7.30pm ish) and my details were dealt with quickly and professionally. We were taken into the treatment room by the clinical practitioner within a few minutes and they began the task of stitching my left hand (6 stitches!) This practitioner was very caring and had a very cheery attitude to their work and my needs. My hand is healing very well and I hope to have the stitches out on Monday. The hospital is in a very convenient place for visitors to that particular part of Lakeland and should remain open to not only visitors to the people of Keswick and district.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your very positive feedback for the service you received at Keswick Hospital on Friday 13th May.

I am pleased to read that your experience was so positive.

I really hope that your fall didn't spoil your holiday.

Hope all goes well when the stitches are removed.

Regards

Sylvia, Interim Experience of Care Manager
