"Wonderful, caring staff- thank you"

Was my first ever operation and hospital stay.

I was in general surgery for a double hernia correction.

I was extremely anxious but I met both the surgeon and anesthetist pre operation and both of them were very reassuring and set me at rest.

I also met some theatre staff who were equally calming.

After the operation I was taken to ward 4 for recovery. All the staff there were excellent and I received all the care I needed. A big, big thanks to everyone involved.
