About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I attended A&E some weeks ago after a fall downstairs. The consultant who saw me did not examine me but asked where it hurt - everywhere! My head injury was not cleaned nor was I given a head injury card.

As an ex-A&E nurse I am sorry to see how standards have fallen. If this is a flagship department pity help us.

I imagine the fall must have been very frightening for you.
