"Quality of Life"

About: Harrogate District Hospital

I have suffered all my adult life with knee problems and been brushed off time and time again, I am now 59 and told I am still too young for the knee replacement that they know I need, so I will have to hope that I live long enough to get a pain free usable knee and have some quality of life.

I will of course by then be too unfit as I can't use my leg properly and my muscles are so wasted so I won't get any real use from it anyway.

NHS logic.

Good afternoon

Thank you for your comments. It's difficult to go into detail about reasons for decisions made without knowing who you are or what you medically require.

If you would like to take this further please contact our Patient Experience Team who will be happy to assist: https://www.hdft.nhs.uk/patients/patient-experience/

Many thanks.
