What I liked

I was in ward 10

The ward was reasonably clean and the surgical staff were excellent. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of all of the ward staff and physios.

Most of the nurses were caring but a few were too full of their own importance and spent too much time discussing their social arrangements..

What could be improved

A number of times at night call belles were not answered for long periods (eg 10 minutes) the excuse being that they were at the other end of the ward and couldn't here them

Food was disgusting and invariably cold.How people can say the food was good I fail to comprehend.

Physios while doing their job came across as bullying and interested only in discharging people as quickly as possible. Are they on bonus?

Anything else?

I expected to see the surgeon before I was discharged but was disappointed.
