"Both Dr & two specialists at Weston Hospital..."

About: Weston General Hospital

I requested a Private MRI scan which I would be paying for. This was to get past the specialist that was ignoring my feelings that I had a labral tear in my hip.

The GP contacted the specialist & I was given an MRI which does not show a labral tear. I then had to pay to see a third specialist at the Spire in Bristol they agreed that an MRI would not show a labral tear. The consultant examined me & feels that it is very likely that I do have a Labral tear. They have arranged an MRA for me.

The Doctor should have respected my wishes. And the Orthopaedic specialists should be up to date in this area & know that a Labral tear would not show on an MRI - instead of arguing with me & suggesting that I see a physiologist. Disgusting medical service.
