"minor injuries unit is a credit to the hospital"

About: Sir Robert Peel Hospital

(as the patient),

Hello I was sent by my doctor to your unit after an accident to my fingers. I expected a long wait but was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which I was registered and seen by the nurse Simon who treated the injury and dressed it. The whole experience was efficient and friendly, the same can be said of the follow up visits many thanks to all in the unit they are a credit to your hospital.

Dear fingers

Thank you for your post regarding your attendance at Good Hope Hospital's Accident and Emergency Department following an accident to your fingers.

I am so pleased to read that despite expecting a long wait for treatment, you were seen, assessed and treated in a timely, speedy fashion. Also, that your follow up appointments have been efficient, with care delivered by friendly staff.

I will ensure that your kind comments are highlighted to A Birmingham, Matron for A&E, and Dr M Sajeel, Clinical Lead for A&E at Good Hope Hospital who will be thrilled to read your feedback and ensure it is communicated to all of the Emergency Department team who work very hard to provide quality patient care to their patients.

I wish you well in your continued recovery and once again thank you for providing your feedback, it is extremely important to us.

With kind regards

Marie Helebert
