" Angry and upset about care at Royal Bolton"

(as the patient),

I was a patient at Royal Bolton, staying on wards D4, D2, C2 and A4. I am very unhappy with my treatment. They do not even know what's wrong with me!

I felt there was nothing good about my care at Bolton, it all could have been better. I feel angry and upset with the lack of interest by some of the agency nurses. In my opinion some of these staff need to be replaced by nurses with experience.

Though I would like to thank my GP.

I was very concerned to hear of your recent experiences at our hospital. At Bolton hospital we always want to resolve issues about treatment and care, and learn from peoples' experiences. Therefore, I want to make sure you know that you can approach our PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison) service, who will try to help you with any questions about treatment and look into the nursing care which you describe. You also have a right to make a formal complaint about your treatment, which you can do by writing to our Customer Relations Coordinator.

However, we would like to assure you that your comments will be looked at and taken on board by the Matron and Nurse Manager responsible for the areas you describe, as part of our ongoing monitoring of patient care.
